Jennifer A. Mackey, DDS

Dr. Mackey grew up in nearby Dix Hills. She later received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2008. She fell in love with the South and Tar Heel basketball but decided to leave behind the great weather and returned to her home state to continue her education. She went on to earn her DDS degree at the University of Buffalo School of Dental Medicine in 2012. She also completed a General Practice residency at Metropolitan Hospital in New York, NY, where she gained a great deal of experience in facial trauma and emergency care.
Dr. Mackey enjoys all aspects of dentistry and believes it is crucial to evaluate a patient’s whole body health in relation to their oral health. She has recently taken a special interest in treating sleep disordered breathing, including UARS and sleep apnea, with oral appliances.
When Dr. Mackey is not in the office, she is usually spending time with family and friends. She loves traveling and trying new cuisines, cooking, and hiking with the family! She and her husband, Derry, live close by with their daughter, Rory, and their Wheaten Terrier, Declan.
