What can I expect at my first appointment?
Your first visit is an opportunity for us to welcome you to our family — and a chance for you to see our office and meet our team. Your visit will also include a comprehensive oral exam, dental radiographs, if indicated, and a thorough dental cleaning. If any areas of concern need to be addressed, a treatment plan will be drawn up.
Should I bring anything with me?
When you come to your visit, you will want to bring your dental insurance card, if applicable. It is also recommended that you fill out the new Patient Forms. Please do not forget to bring along a list of your current medications.
What payment options do you offer?
We believe that everyone should have access to dental treatments when needed so we offer a wide variety of payment options — dental insurance, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. We also take CareCredit for those seeking financing options.
Ask us about our Kalmar Family Dentistry Membership Club if you do not have access to dental insurance.
Do you provide services for kids and adults?
Yes, at Kalmar Family Dentistry we offer a comprehensive list of dental services for both children and adults, although we are not pediatric dentists we provide pediatric dentistry, preventative dentistry, restorative dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, for all ages.
Are you available for dental emergencies?
Absolutely. We understand that dental emergencies can happen when you least expect them. Our team is available to guide you through, getting you the attention you need when you need it. If you are dealing with a dental emergency, contact us right away.
How often do I need to visit the dentist?
It is recommended that you visit the dentist every 6 months for a professional cleaning and an oral evaluation. This should become a regular part of your oral hygiene routine.
